A overwhelming crowd was present for the Absolute Auction of the C Bar C Real Ranch on Saturday, November 8, in Carney Oklahoma. The teams of Pickens Auctions, Taylor Auctions and West Central Auctions combined to present a spectacular auction event for the C Bar C. A total of 1820 acres was sold utilizing the Multi-Par format with 10 tracts ranging from 40 to 665 acres were offered in multiple combinations to a crowd of over 280 buyers.
Buyers from all over Oklahoma were present for the machinery auction that featured a great selection of ranch equipment. The highlight of the auction was the John Deere 7820 with just 1900 hours that fetched $77,000.00. Other items of interest sold was a John Deere Skid Steer reaching $22,000.00 a 2007 Dodge 3500 Pickup at $18,000.00.
Auctioneers Gregg Pickens, Ernie Pickens, C. R. Ohara, Benny Taylor, and Jason Winter combined to call the bids to an excellent crowd of bidders on the personal property.
Ruthie Taylor of Taylor Auction & Realty, Inc. and Rachael Chillas of Pickens Auctions managed the Multi Par system during the Real Estate Auction making over 25 different combinations throughout the auction.
